A2 threw a fit in the grocery store and then got what she wanted.
Happy parenting? Is giving them what they want the solution? No.
But communication is.
Also, picking your fights can be very wise….
I admit , I totally gave in to this one…
I was laughing the whole time, and then was taking pictures of her….
I’ve never felt this judged in my life. The whole store was staring at us.

So he wants me back.
Juicy title huh? Sounds like I’ve got a dating life…. Well I don’t.
I’m happily married and with 3 kids, keeping a love life alive can be a challenge. But nothing is impossible!
And it’s easier than you think. Last week when I was on The Uncle Mike Show, a viewer e-mail asked: do you still have time for romance?
And my reply was something along the lines of : “it takes little time for a lot of romance ” and the host of the show our dear Uncle Mike, jumped to conclusions and assumed I was talking about sex. Short lasting sex.
Well, that wasn’t at all what I meant. I meant it doesn’t take time to have romance because romance is a glance, an understanding, a look, a touch….
A sex life is important too but that will have to be the topic of another post… In another blog….
All this said….so he wants me back, I meant Uncle Mike, he had me on his show last week and he wants an encore.
Only one way to find out if last week’s success was a first timers luck…. I’m learning as I go….

A million dollar secret.
Take the time to think about what you’re grateful for, most importantly be conscious of the positive emotions they bring your way. Wether it’s a person, a conversation or simply a song, be grateful and enjoy the ride..
The more you’re grateful, the happier you’ll feel and the happier you’ll feel the more happiness you will attract into your life. Be happy and attract happy. Happiness will only go to those who are happy. And that’s a million dollar secret !

Creaming Butts
It’s almost 11 pm and the kids are finally all asleep. My hands are shaking and I can feel my heart beating in my chest and in my head. I just threw myself on the sofa with a sigh and decided that the cleanup and the dishes will just have to become a Saturday morning delight because I am done, finito, Kaput!
A few minutes ago A2 was chasing me around with an open jar of baby butt cream and a big lump of thick white cream on the tip of her finger. Her wish was to finally turn the tables on me and have MY butt creamed for a change. She didn’t have it!
Speaking of creaming butts, did you catch me on The Uncle Mike Show ?

It was totally obvious that he had never read my blog before, but the funniest part is when after the show was over, we went back into the office to watch the episode all together with his staff. When we were watching the part where he was reading the e-mails, one e-mail asked “When will we be hearing about an A4?” so in that moment Uncle Mike turns to me and asks “What’s an A4?”.
As that point his wife smacked him upside the head! “A1,A2,A3 are her kids!!!”
It was the funniest thing. I wish he had asked me that question on air!!!
The staff was amazing, they went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable, they’re all truly passionate about what they’re doing and are making sure it stays light and fun. Uncle Mike’s wife is such a gracious host and I must say that they are such real people. I loved the time I spent with them. And I’m not creaming butts here…I really mean all of this.
